TWS is once again making headlines in South Korea following their historic victory on KBS 2TV’s “Immortal Songs.” The idols not only snatched the crown but also reached a historic status inside the show that establishes their reputation as performance masters.
On April 18 KST, during the second part of the Yoon Il Sang special, the group achieved the first-ever “all-kill” win for an idol group in their very first appearance. The idols made a special reinterpretation of Young Turks Club’s 1996 classic, “Affection”.

The original composer, Yoon II Sang, was visibly impressed by watching TWS make a marvelous performance of his song, including the “scissors dance break.” Sang even commented on the boys’ show:
“I ended up stanning them without even realizing it. This is definitely the best dance performance among all the remakes of my songs.”
