K-pop acts like Stray Kids and SEVENTEEN aren’t just climbing the charts; they’re selling physical CDs like crazy. From January 3 to July 3, 2025, five K-pop acts landed in the top 10 best-selling CDs in the US, according to music tracker Luminate. These numbers include CD-only sales, not digital albums or streams. Stray Kids is the highest-ranking K-pop act on the tally, with 149k copies sold of their “合 (HOP)” mixtape. Then, ENHYPEN and ATEEZ appear in third and fourth spot, with 149k and 145k respectively. Meanwhile,  The Weekend takes the top spot with 163k copies of his latest album “Hurry Up Tomorrow”

SEVENTEEN appears at the seventh spot thanks to their EP “HAPPY BURSTDAY,” taking 79k copies. LE SSERAFIM is the only girl group present on the chart, with 73k copies of their mini-album “HOT.” The rest of the ranking is dominated by Western artists, including Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar.
