These are the only three Kpop songs with the highest certifications by the RIAA, including BLACKPINK’s Rosé

The RIAA certifications are a prestigious award created by the e Recording Industry Association of America to recognize albums, songs, and music videos that have reached specific milestones in terms of sales and streaming in the United States. Usually, artists are granted Gold certifications after reaching 500,000 equivalent units or Platinum after surpassing 1,000,000 equivalent units.

The Kpop scene is slowly taking a spot in the American market with its catchy songs and great reception by the public. So, it’s not a surprise that a couple of songs are reaching huge milestones, being worthy of an RIAA certification. These are the only three Kpop songs with the highest certifications ever for a Kpop act, in no particular order, including BLACKPINK’s Rosé

BTS’ “Dynamite”: The song that became a popular bop during the COVID-19 lockdown was presented as BTS’ first full English single and first approach to the American market, earning an amazing 5x platinum certification

HUNTR/X’s “GOLDEN”: Everyone has listened at least once to the Kpop Demon Hunters’ soundtrack, including their title track, “GOLDEN.” The song, which broke several records in the United States, reached the 5x platinum status in record time. What an amazing way to approach the Kpop scene in the American market.

BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s “APT”: The amazing collaboration with Bruno Mars was recently granted another RIAA certification, tying with HUNTR/X and BTS for the highest-certified song by a Kpop act. Another astonishing mark for the BLACKPINK member.
