Prince Harry is in the midst of the hurricane once again for his long-term dispute with the royal family which seems to have no end. Prince Harry publicly attacked the royals’ declaration that they were racist towards Meghan Markle in his memoir, “Spare”, published on January 2023. The royal family finally hit back, removing the prince’s royal title.
The royal family’s official website removed Prince Harry’s royal title ‘His Royal Highness’ and replace it with ‘The Duke of Sussex.’ The family’s intention was to clarify Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to give up on their royal titles in 2020 and move to the United States to live a calmer life.
Although Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from any interaction with the royals including their titles, British people often call them Duke and Duchess of Sussex and expect they can reconcile and have a strong bond as before, reflecting the monarchy they were supposed to be.
Prince Harry’s endless confrontations with the royal family make a strong statement of their fractured relationship, considering they might never reconcile again after the two parties have been giving low blows damaging their reputation and image.
