Chopper officially joins the Straw Hat crew
The One Piece live-action first landed on Netflix in August 2023 and quickly turned skeptical viewers into believers! Since the finale dropped, fans have been counting the days to see the Straw Hat crew back in action, and the countdown is coming to an end. At Jump Festa 2026, the wait finally paid off with a brand new trailer for Season 2 and the big reveal everyone was hoping for: Chopper is officially here, cuteness fully unlocked, and yes, we know the voice actors behind the iconic reindeer.
The voices behind the iconic Chopper
For Japanese audiences, the voice behind Tony Tony Chopper will once again be Ikue Otani, the same actor who has defined the character in the anime for years. For the English version, Mikaela Hoover steps in, giving Chopper a fresh but faithful twist. The newly released trailer shows the crew meeting Chopper for the first time, with exciting reactions, and Luffy reminding us that everything he’s done is for the One Piece. We also get a few shots of Nami and Zoro in combat, giving the trailer an intense feel.
An intense trailer gearing up fans for Season 2
Things escalate fast: Robin appears, signaling her upcoming role with the Straw Hats, and the trailer ends with the crew sailing straight into Laboon’s mouth. On top of that, Smoker is confirmed for Season 2, and he is fully locked in on capturing Luffy. Expect new characters, bigger risks, and Chopper stealing every scene he is in. One Piece Season 2 will premiere on March 10, 2025, on Netflix.
