The soundtrack will be released in physical and digital formats
The soundtrack for Heated Rivalry will be released on July 10, 2026, in both physical and digital formats. The announcement was made on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. The album will be available through Milan Records on CD, vinyl, and digital download. Pre-orders will start on March 26, 2026, and fans can sign up to receive more information when the order page becomes available. This release gives fans of the show a new way to collect music from the series, which has reached virality thanks to its emotionality and song selection.
The album will include songs from the show and the original score music
The soundtrack will feature 11 previously released songs used in the first season of the series, along with original score music by Peter Peter. Among the included artists are Harrison, t.A.T.u., Wet Leg, Wolf Parade, Feist, and Cailin Russo. The tracklist will also include a previously unreleased bonus track titled “One Soul” (Cottage Mix), which was heard in the show. Both the CD and vinyl editions will come with a fold-out poster, photos from the series, and liner notes written by show creator Jacob Tierney. The series has expanded its audience since premiering in 2025
Heated Rivalry first premiered on Crave in Canada on November 28, 2025, and it debuted the same day in the United States on HBO Max. The show stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams as hockey rivals Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander, who later turn into lovers and then boyfriends. The series is based on Rachel Reid’s popular Game Changers book series. A few weeks after its premiere, the show reached massive popularity and was renewed for Season 2. With the soundtrack now being out, the music from the show is becoming a bigger part of its growing fame.
