‘Teach You a Lesson’ has become Netflix’s biggest K-drama hit since ‘Squid Game’

'Teach You a Lesson' joins the all-time top 10 most-watched non-English series on Netflix

Recent reports revealed the Korean series ‘Teach You a Lesson’ has become Netflix‘s biggest K-drama hit since ‘Squid Game,’ earning an important place on one of the streaming service’s most prestigious shows.

Eight weeks after its release, this new K-Drama has amassed 60.2 million views and earning the tenth place on Netflix’s all-time Top 10 most popular non-English series becoming the fourth Korean series to achieve the milestone, after the three season of ‘Squid Game’.

During it first week ‘Teach You a Lesson’ debuted at No. 1 on Netflix’s global rankings and kept the top spot for four consecutive weeks, it also entered the Top 10 in 91 countries and even after two months of its release it remains in Netflix’s global Top 10 rankings.

This justice and action series follows a fictional South Korea with a school system collapsed by bullying and principal neglect, leading the Ministry of Education to create a secret agency with an elite group that fights fire with fire, physically intervening and exposing corruption.
