Taylor Swift continues her reign as pop’s ultimate empress! Her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” has officially sold over three million copies in the United States since its release on October 3, 2025. On its first day alone, the album sold an impressive 2.7 million copies, securing the second-largest sales week in contemporary music history, right behind Adele’s “25” released in 2015.
In total, the album has earned about 3.2 million equivalent album units in 4 days. That includes physical and digital sales, plus streaming figures that surpassed 300 million plays in its first two days. Adding to the hype, her Swifties went crazy for the multiple CD and vinyl variants available through different retailers and Taylor Swift’s online store, which include alternative covers, different color palettes and aesthetics, posters, and other goodies.
With 25 physical editions and multiple digital versions, the project has become a collector’s dream. The singer also restocked her deluxe boxed set, complete with the signature cardigan and CD. The numbers prove once again that she is in a league of her own, and she is still very much in the race to take Adele’s first-week sales record in the United States, making the “Life of a Showgirl” era all the more iconic and unforgettable.
