During a recent interview for the promotion of her new album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl‘, Taylor Swift talks about her collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, confessing the close bond they have and praising her talent for music.
In conversations at The Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon, the singer said about their collaboration for her new project, “The first thought I had was Sabrina Carpenter. She’s like the quintessential showgirl”, started the American singer.
“She’s such a funny person, she’s so tough in the right ways and soft and vulnerable in the right ways to be an artist that is dealing with the kind of absolute mayhem that artists get subjected to when you’re putting art out publicly”.
“And I was so happy that she wanted to sing that second verse because I kind of wrote it for her; she’s just sort of like, ‘She was a menace, the baby of the family in Lennox. Her father whored around like all men did […].’ I just know she’s going to have fun singing this; it’s kind of her type of lyrics. She just loves to write clever little jabs at men”.
With this statement, the singer expresses her love for the young artist, moving all their fans, who left comments like: “Taylor Swift praises Sabrina Carpenter as the perfect showgirl with the wit and strength to shine.✨❤️”, “That’s so sweet and genuine! 💫”, “Taylor’s praise shows how much she truly respects Sabrina’s talent”, “I just love them so much”.
