Taylor Swift is proving once again her major influence in the United Kingdom as her single for Toy Story 5, “I knew It, I knew You,” has just recorded the biggest pure sales week for any song in the country since “Now And Then” by The Beatles in 2023. Swift is collecting major chart milestones in the territory with ease.
The achievement further strengthens Swift’s already dominant run on the UK charts in 2026 after the release of her album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” back in 2025. The Official UK Charts announced the song maintained its position at No. 1 while generating an impressive surge in sales, driven largely by demand for multiple collector editions, including limited CDs and vinyl releases.
The soundtrack song reportedly moved around 71,000 chart units during the latest tracking week, narrowly surpassing previous weekly benchmarks set earlier this year. The record becomes even more significant as it marks the strongest pure sales performance in nearly three years, with the previous benchmark belonging to The Beatles, which generated massive physical and download sales during its historic release in November 2023. Congratulations to Taylor Swift!
