Stray Kids have had such an amazing debut week worldwide. The boys are making history in different music markets, including the American one, with their latest musical project, “KARMA.” Ultimately, they have expanded a unique Kpop record on the charts.
On September 1 KST, Billboard, the biggest music rankings published weekly, which reflects the relative popularity of songs and albums in the United States, made a major announcement. Stray Kids have once again made Billboard history, as “KARMA” debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 charts dated September 6.
“KARMA” earned 313,000 equivalent album units in the United States, making it Stray Kids’ strongest week to date in the territory. Ultimately, the group extended their record as the only act in the chart’s 69-year history to debut at No. 1 with their first seven albums. In addition, Stray Kids surpassed BTS, Linkin Park, and Dave Matthews Band for the most No. 1 albums by a group on the Billboard 200 this century. Congratulations to Stray Kids!
