Stray Kids has now officially surpassed 40 million album sales globally as of April 2026, according to an announcement made by JYP Entertainment on May 27, 2026. The impressive amount includes albums released both in South Korea and Japan since the boy group’s early days. After their official debut in 2018 with the pre-debut release “Mixtape,” Stray Kids have become one of the biggest and most popular groups in their generation.

In South Korea, Stray Kids has released 19 albums, including their November 2025 mixtape “Do It.” In Japan, the 8-member team has launched nine albums since the release of “SKZ2020,” their first best-of-album in the country. In addition, their Japanese projects also include the EP “Hollow,” released in June 2025. Throughout the years, Stray Kids have consistently attracted strong sales numbers and built a loyal international fan base thanks to their tours, performances, and chart success.
Among all of Stray Kids’ releases, their 2023 studio album “5 Star” became their biggest commercial success. The album sold 5.3 million copies and made history at the time by recording 4.6 million sales during its first week. Topping things off, Stray Kids also achieved another major accomplishment by placing eight consecutive albums at No. 1 on Billboard’s Billboard 200 chart. Most recently, the boy group announced their Latin American run, “STRAYCITY,” visiting Colombia, Argentina and Buenos Aires throughout September 2026.
