Stray Kids’ Felix is the face of the 2026 Hanbok Wave Project as a new ambassador

The Stray Kids member will help introduce traditional Korean fashion to audiences around the world

Stray Kids member Felix has been chosen as the representative artist for the 2026 Hanbok Wave project. On June 17, 2026, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism announced the decision alongside the Korea Craft and Design Foundation. Now in its seventh year, the Hanbok Wave campaign works with influential Korean celebrities to promote the beauty and value of hanbok, Korea’s traditional clothing, to the international public. The campaign has previously been led by popular South Korean figures such as Kim Yuna, Suzy, Kim Tae Ri, and Park Bo Gum.

As part of the initiative, the Stray Kids member will collaborate with five domestic hanbok brands to showcase the beauty of traditional Korean clothing. In addition, small and medium-sized businesses will get a chance to participate until July 10, 2026. The companies that make the cut will each make 10 hanbok designs inspired by Felix’s image and symbolic qualities, making the 25-year-old the perfect representative for Korean attire.

The completed designs will appear in fashion pictorials and promotional campaigns both in South Korea and overseas. They will also be displayed on billboards in major cities, including Seoul, New York, Paris, and Milan. Outside this project, Stray Kids continue their busy group activities after headlining The Governors Ball Music Festival 2026 in New York. The group is also preparing performances in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia, reflecting their massive popularity across Latin America.
