Amid the celebrations for his 26th birthday, it was revealed that Stray Kids‘ Changbin donates millions to children in need during this important day, demonstrating that the best gift for him is being able to give to others.
On August 11th, the idol donated 100 million KRW (approximately $75,000 USD) to Samsung Medical Center for the coverage of surgery and treatment costs for underprivileged pediatric and adolescent patients, but also programs to provide emotional support during their recovery.
“I’m deeply grateful to be able to return the love I’ve received from fans on my birthday and to offer a small ray of hope to children in need. I hope my contribution will aid in their recovery and healthy growth”, said the Stray Kids member.
This is not the first time Changbin has made a charity act throughout his career; even this year, 2025, the K-Pop idol and his members from the boy group donated to Hope Bridge and World Vision to aid in wildfire recovery efforts in South Korea’s Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions.
