Stray Kids’ members are known for being involved in every single charitable event to support young people worldwide. This time, Bang Chan has decided to celebrate his birthday with a generous act of philanthropy towards the children.
On October 3, Bang Chan contributed $71,000 each to Samsung Medical Center and the Korean Committee for UNICEF. The donation to Samsung Medical Center will help to cover treatment expenses for pediatric patients. At the same time, the contribution to UNICEF will include programs such as health, nutrition, water and sanitation, education, child protection, and emergency relief.
All the funds will be prioritized for regions and initiatives in urgent need. Ultimately, Bang Chan was inducted into the UNICEF Honors Club, a recognition reserved for high-value donors. The idol shared a short but substantial statement for his birthday and the donations.
“Thanks to the love of my fans, I was able to share warmth with others. I hope this can help children dream of brighter futures.”
