Neflix‘s Stranger Things is approaching the release of its fifth and final season, marking the end of a successful show. And guess what? Sadie Sink is intriguing fans with her character, Max Mayfield, thanks to her recent cryptic revelations.

The actor joined the Stranger Things cast for season 2, but it was only until season 4 that Sadie Sink’s role as Max Mayfield blew up. Back then, her character was being hunted down by the series’ bad guy, and just when we thought she was dying boom! Kate Bush‘s “Running Up That Hill” saved her from a cruel destiny (and gave her the most viral scene in the show).

Sadly, during the finale of season 4, her character fell into a comma, making fans wonder if Max Mayfield would wake up for the upcoming and final arc of the show. Well, the actor recently addressed this question in a new interview with Variety, saying:

“They love having me run. Whether that means in real life, the Upside Down or the Void is left, for now, to the imagination. That’s all I’ll say.”

And just like that, the Stranger Things superstar keeps fans intrigued with her participation in the final season of the series!
