SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino reveal they will be enlisting this year

Through a recent appearance in a variety show, SEVENTEEN‘s Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino revealed they will be enlisting this year, confirming they plan on doing it in one go.

On May 29th, the boy group appeared on the most recent episode of the variety show ‘채널십오야,’ where the idols reunited to play together and have a dinner full of funny moments and interesting conversations, keeping fans attentive.

The shock came when they suddenly revealed that the SEVENTEEN members who haven’t done their military service are planning on enlisting later this year all at once, said Seungkwan. “We’re all going [to enlist] this year.”

The8 added, “The timing differs a bit for each one, but they’re all going this year,” and S.Coups named the members “Mingyu, Dokyeom, Vernon, Seungkwan, and Dino” as the members who will enlist, surprising the host, who didn’t expect the youngest member would join them.

Seungkwan continues explaining that this is their duty, showing his intentions to reunite the group together again soon: “As a group, we have to shorten the military hiatus as much as possible,” and continues sharing his worries about shaving his head.

The idol concluded, assuring, “We’re aiming for a group comeback in 2028, so it’ll be soon,” he said casually while continuing to eat while on social networks. Fans are reacting with shock but also much support to SEVENTEEN’s next phase.
