On September 16th, SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi officially enlisted in the military service, becoming the fourth member of the boy group to fulfill this mandatory service for all South Korean men and moving all his fans by starting this pause in his career.

The K-Pop idol followed his member Woozi, who enlisted the day before, on September 15; both are the first members to join as active duty soldiers in a period of time between 18 months and 21 months until their release.

Before their enlistment, Hoshi made a goodbye Weverse live and post to interact with his fans; he also shared a sweet video with Minghao shaving his hair for the army and Jun taking off his SEVENTEEN rings, touching all fans’ hearts.

But that was not all, as the idol also posted 17 pictures on Instagram with OT13 pics and announced a new solo song titled ‘TAKE A SHOT‘ that will be released today, September 16th, on the official streaming services.
