Recent updates revealed that SEVENTEEN‘s Hoshi celebrates his birthday with new music and a generous donation, earning much praise for these contributions to his fans and society even while in military service.
On June 15th, the idol dropped his new solo song ‘SNAPBACK‘ on all platforms, which he both wrote and composed. The release was accompanied by a YouTube performance film and social media dance challenges, all prepared before his military enlistment.
In addition to the new music, on this day the Community Chest of Korea revealed that Hoshi made a 100 million KRW, approximately $73,000 USD, donation to complete a classroom construction project at a public school in Zambia.
According to the organization, the idol’s donation through the Gyeonggi Northern Community Chest of Korea helped to expand the school from two classrooms to five, construct new restroom facilities, and improve the electrical infrastructure providing a new learning environment for approximately 250 local children.

The SEVENTEEN member is currently fulfilling his military service as a member of the Taekwondo Demonstration Team under the Army Band and Honor Guard Battalion with his discharge set for March 15 of 2027.
