Selena Gomez is opening up about mental health, love, and finding purpose, and we’re listening! The “Only Murders in the Building” actor appeared on the Therapuss podcast on August 6, 2025, speaking candidly about her bipolar diagnosis and sharing her story to connect with people. Through her beauty brand Rare Beauty, launched in 2020, Selena has been using her platform and brand to give back. A portion of the profits supports mental health initiatives, something she says will always be at the heart of what she does.

Selena emphasized the importance of therapy and medication in her journey, saying she feels lucky to be in a healthier space now. “Anything I’m part of has to give back in some way,” she explained. Her goal is to reach people who may not even realize what they’re going through and feel unseen.

“And then I realized that anything that I touch or anything I’m a part of, it has to give back and some sort of element. And that just always has been my key demographic – it’s people who don’t feel seen or heard or, even know what’s going on and in their own mind.”

The singer also opened up about her relationship with Benny Blanco. After confirming their romance in 2023 and getting engaged in 2024, the two collaborated on a joint album released in March 2025, titled “I Said I Love You First.” As for the future, she is excited but also nervous about her wedding. “I’ve never felt so sure about something, and I also don’t want to jinx it by saying that,” she revealed.
