In the interview for the American magazine ‘Vanity Fair‘, Gomez confessed her intention to form a family before turning 35; however, she also revealed, “I unfortunately can’t carry my own children. I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy“.
Even so, the singer has taken this in the best way and expressed, “I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me“. This lets us know that, as she is not being able to do it by the traditional method, she is willing to try other alternatives.
The experience of being a mother is something that excites the actress, who revealed, “I’m excited for what that journey will look like, but it’ll look a little different“. She added, “At the end of the day, I don’t care. It’ll be mine. It’ll be my baby“, making it clear that she will love it even if this baby wasn’t gestated in her womb.
