Okay, Selenators, it’s time to go back to 2015. That’s because Selena Gomez’s second studio album, “Revival,” is turning 10 years old today. The project was released on October 9th, 2015, and it marked one of the singer’s most mature and career-defining music projects she has ever done.
Taking the emotion to Instagram, Selena Gomez herself celebrated the one decade of her album, sharing a photo dump with footage from that era on her Instagram profile. “Happy 10 YEARS of my album Revival!!!” she captioned the post. Adding to the hype, she then looked back on that moment in time and shared a few nostalgic words with fans:
“The year was 2015, I had bangs and thought I was a rockstar,” she said. “What a time!! Thank you to those who have sang to every song with me and for making that chapter of my life so memorable!! LOVE YOU.”
To honor the album’s 10th anniversary, Selena Gomez shared a link on her Instagram Story to her store for fans to purchase Revival merch on her website. The merch includes the 10-year anniversary exclusive deluxe vinyl of “Revival,” which features 3 additional tracks. Fans will also have the chance to purchase the “Revival” deluxe CD, which comes with a journal. Other available goodies include a t-shirt, hoodie, and a choker.
