During her recent state visit, Queen consort Camilla Parker met with a group of children to whom she confessed that she was “too old” to continue with some of her duties. The wife of King Charles III added that although it is one of her greatest passions she has found herself having to give it up.

Queen consort Camilla and King Charles III, on their trip to Germany, visited Berlin and Hamburg where in both cities they were very well received. It was on her trip to Hamburg that Queen Consort Camilla Parker met a group of students to whom she made the sad confession:

I used to have horses that I rode, but sadly I don’t ride them anymore. I think I’m too old to continue those duties, but I do have racehorses. Last night I saw on my screen one of the foals being born, which was very exciting.”

.

Queen consort Camilla Parker, who is 75, used to share with her mother-in-law her great love of horses, something they could talk about for hours. However, the confession of the wife of King Charles III has come as a huge surprise, as it is known that Queen Elizabeth II continued to ride horses well into her old age.
