During the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Normandy Landings, the so-called D-Day, Prince William updated Kate Middleton‘s health and Princess Charlotte‘s examinations while talking with war heroes and some young people who were present to commemorate the important day.
William, during one of his conversations with a veteran, assured that his wife, Kate Middleton, no doubt would have loved to be present, but her treatment prevented it; however, he confirmed that she is ‘fine’, but still, the princess has decided to stay away from the public eye during this process.
On the other hand, the future monarch also had a chat with a girl who was the granddaughter of a British hero, and she asked him about his daughter, Princess Charlotte. William replied, “Charlotte’s at school“, and later revealed, “she’s got tests—she wasn’t looking forward to it this morning“, adding, “hopefully it’s all gone well!“.
The event took place in the English city of Portsmouth, the place of departure of the British heroes who were heading to Normandy during the Second World War, a very important day for British history since that day finally achieved the liberation of the territories occupied by Nazi Germany.
