After his most recent visit to the UK, Prince Harry would have rejected King Charles III‘s accommodation offer for ‘security’ reasons that do not work for him in his situation, which would have demonstrated how fractured their relationship is in current times.
The Duke of Sussex recently traveled to the UK to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games. Due to this, his father, the current monarch, made an offer to stay in a royal residence, but according to The Daily Telegraph, he would have rejected it due to its lack of safety provisions.
The media outlet stated that by accepting Prince Harry, he would “stay in a visible location with public entrance and exit points and no police protection“. For that reason, the Duke of Sussex decided to stay in a hotel, which could have made a meeting with his father even more difficult in the midst of his busy royal schedule.
Following his resignation from his royal titles, the younger son of King Charles III lost his right to free police security, and despite leading a strong legal battle to receive benefits of this type, the court ruled against him, preventing him from bringing his wife Meghan Markle and his children to the country safely.
This looks bad for King charles. It paints him as uncaring about his son's safety.

A similar private funding arrangement of police protection Harry requested (to pay so the public dont) and was denied.
Yet the King doesnt offer Harry the same protection while staying at a royal residence?
The Sussexes had credible threats to life (ex mi6 officer said in interview.) Ppl where arrested and charged with planning to do them harm and the Sussexes still have a high security requirement when in the UK.
Seems fishy for King Charles not to offer security to his son but still fund his disgraced brother who's alleged crimes are clearly far more egregious and do more damage to the Royals.
Harry simply stepping down and telling his side of the media's narratives then moved on and is working to fund his family reguardless of how the media trying to spin it.
The Royals ongoing treatment of Harry seems more and more childish petty and vindictive especially compared to their embracing and protection of Prince Andrew and the allegations against him.
