Prince Harry laughs after a goat interrupts his charity yoga session

The Duke of Sussex enjoyed a playful moment while supporting bereaved military families

Prince Harry shared a funny moment during Scotty’s Summer Festival in Warwickshire, England, on July 11, 2026, when a goat unexpectedly jumped onto him during a yoga session. The Duke of Sussex was taking part in the charity festival, which supports children who have lost a parent serving in the armed forces. While he was lying on a mat surrounded by children and goats during a goat yoga session, one of the animals landed on his groin. The Duke quickly covered himself while laughing, and jokingly asked the goat, “Ow! What are you doing?” as those around him laughed, too.

The festival featured several family-friendly activities, including goat yoga, inflatable obstacle courses and interactive games. Prince Harry, who has supported Scotty’s Little Soldiers since 2017 and became its global ambassador in 2023, spent time speaking with children throughout the event. One of the most emotional moments was when a nine-year-old girl named Poppy asked the Duke what helps him laugh during a difficult day.

“That got me right there,” Prince Harry responded as he patted his heart. “You know what, sometimes it’s just a difficult day. It’s not always possible to laugh. But my dog makes me laugh, my children make me laugh. And if I need to laugh, I’ll probably put something really funny on the television.”

He continued, saying, “And this goes for all of you, there are some days when you’d like to laugh, but it might not always be possible to laugh.” He affirmed. “But you’ve got brothers and sisters, friends, this community… but yes, I think the point is that a laugh at the end of a hard day is the best medicine served.”

This charity visit came shortly after Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their children, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie, reunited privately with King Charles and Queen Camilla on July 10, 2026. The family visit marked the children’s first reunion with their grandfather in approximately four years. Although Meghan and the children traveled to the United Kingdom for the private family meeting, they did not participate in any of Prince Harry’s public engagements. In addition, no photos or videos of the family’s visit will be shown, as per Buckingham Palace.
