Prince Harry and the Royal Family have maintained a tense relationship since the Prince stepped down from his royal duties in 2020. Despite the several attempts from both parties, there’s always something in between that might be the last nail in the coffin.
Just days after sources dismissed several rumors over Prince Harry’s family return to the United Kingdom, The Sunday Times has reported another potential conflict between the Duke of Sussex and the British crown. Harry personally wrote to the Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, requesting a new “risk assessment” from the Royal and VIP Executive Committee.
Palace insiders describe Prince Harry’s move as “deeply unhelpful,” stating this could complicate his relationship with King Charles III and the rest of the Royal Family:
“It complicates things for the king. We’re back to where we were.”
