After nearly two years of royal family silence, Prince Harry and King Charles finally sat down together in London. The Duke of Sussex was spotted visiting Clarence House at 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10th, 2025, for a long-awaited reunion with his father. The King had just flown back from Balmoral Castle, while Prince Harry was fresh from visiting the Centre for Blast Injury Studies at Imperial College London.

Buckingham Palace confirmed that father and son shared a private tea inside Clarence House. The catch-up didn’t last long, though, just under an hour. The Duke of Sussex was seen leaving at  6:14 p.m. in a black car, reportedly heading off to an Invictus Games event later in the evening. This marks their first proper reunion in 19 months, with their last meeting happening back in February 2024, when Prince Harry visited his dad after his cancer diagnosis reveal.

The father of two has been packed and busy ever since landing in the UK. On Monday, September 8th, he attended the WellChild Awards, and by Tuesday, he was in Nottingham, announcing a personal donation of $1,5 million to BBC Children in Need. He has been committed to charity and helping those in need, especially the youth in the United Kingdom. And while this cause has been taking most of his time, he definitely found a moment for a brief tea reunion, potentially signaling the start of a royal thaw.
