Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had a tough journey in the United States after they relocated to Montecito, California in 2020. The former royal couple stepped back from their royal duties because of the ongoing feud with the Royal Family, which led to the complete break of their bonds. Sadly, they are still struggling to be accepted in America.
There have been several celebrities who have shown their discontent regarding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s situation in the United States. As an example of this, Donald Trump swore if he would be re-elected, he would deport Harry back to the United Kingdom.
In addition, the American musician, Huey Morgan, strongly believes the former royal couple is not labeled anymore as royalty in the United States. The musician made several declarations attacking directly the privileged position Harry and Meghan are currently holding.
“They gave up their royal titles right, so he’s just a dude living in America like 340 million other people. I don’t think people in America look at them as royalty.”
The tendency to have Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a negative light is increasing rapidly in the United States. Although the couple has remained silent, the comments from detractors are evident at this point. Are Harry and Meghan losing their power in America?

Fact is they are royalty. Just not working royals. Harry will always be a Prince by birth. Meghan a total by marriage.
They didn't give up the titles they gave up the HRH styling of a working royal.
It's like saying Eugenie or Beatrice aren't royals. They are and will always be royals.
