Park Bom, a 2NE1 member, announced she had filed a lawsuit against YG Entertainment’s executive producer, Yang Hyun Suk, on October 22nd, 2025. The shocking revelation came straight from Park Bom herself, who posted on Instagram, telling the Korean public to “investigate what YG Entertainment did to Park Bom exactly as it is.” Her post included an image of her formal complaint.
According to the complaint, filed on October 19th, 2025, Park Bom accused Yang Hyun Suk of fraud and embezzlement, claiming he failed to pay her rightful profits. The alleged missing amount is 64272e trillion hundred million KRW, which she estimated to be around 4.5 quadrillion USD. She stated that she had suffered both financial and psychological damage, citing a “clear criminal misconduct.” The high number left fans scratching their heads, wondering if it was a typo or an exaggeration.
Her agency, D-Nation Entertainment, seemed surprised by the news. In a phone interview that same day, a representative admitted, “Park Bom is beyond our control as well. We’re currently looking into the details.” On the work front, Park Bom had been participating in reunion concerts with 2NE1, but was put on hiatus since August 2025, due to mental health concerns. With this explosive lawsuit, Park Bom’s comeback to headlines has definitely taken a turn no one expected.
