In an official statement issued on June 20, just hours after Haknyeon spoke out, the company rejected his claims as “distorted” and “one-sided” narratives that damage both the group and the agency.
According to ONE HUNDRED, their decision to terminate the idol’s contract came after a thorough internal review of behavior that violated their agreement. The agency cited Clause 6-3 of the contract, referring to “conduct that significantly damages the dignity required of a public figure.” While they didn’t provide graphic details about the exact incident, their statement affirmed that the recent scandal was a serious risk to THE BOYZ’s reputation and internal dynamics.
