Amid the promotions of the fifth and final season of ‘Stranger Things,‘ Noah Schnapp assures that the finale won’t satisfy everyone and that this feeling has generated pressure among the cast.
In conversations with USA TODAY, the actor talked about how cautious the Duffer Brothers were about the final script and his true opinions after reading it for the first time: “I remember reading it and being like, ‘This is perfect.’ “
However, Noah Schnapp also assured that “It’s literally impossible, which is why they’re not working to satisfy ‘this versus that.'” and explained that the whole story was completely written from the beginning.
“There’s so much pressure on that last episode to not just finish the season, but the last episode also tells a story of what the whole show was. But I think the Duffers and us as a cast, honestly, are good at tuning out the noise.”
“The Duffers are really good at having tunnel vision. They’re just working to tell the story that they set out to tell 10 years ago. They planned out the final scene from the beginning. They’re so smart in how they write the show, and everything has a purpose. Everything was planned.”
He finally remembered the more than two-hour final episode that will be released on the streaming service but also in some theaters, and he is planning on seeing it again during the New Year’s Day function and said, “I’m not watching on New Year’s Eve because I don’t want to be depressed the whole night.”
