Building momentum after major success
Nicholas Galitzine has been everywhere thanks to hits like Purple Hearts and The Idea of You, and now he is officially heading back into the massive popularity of Red, White and Royal Blue. The actor has been busy filming the recent indie fantasy project One Hundred Nights of Hero and preparing to play He-Man in Masters of the Universe. However, he still confirmed that the long-awaited sequel to Red, White and Royal Blue begins shooting in the new year.
A second installment fueled by romance and stardom
Nicholas Galitzine did not drop plot details, but his recent interview with Variety made it clear that everything about the sequel looks extremely positive. His filming schedule is packed, but he still carved out time to return to the iconic love story that made him a global fan favorite in 2023.
“…But first, he’ll start shooting the Red, White and Royal Blue sequel in the new year and gear up for He-Man’s debut in June,” Variety revealed.
A new year filled with filming and indie projects
The 31-year-old actor said that he is keeping himself busy with more indie films, including projects that have both been announced and others that remain under wraps. Nicholas feels particularly excited about Masters of the Universe, as it feels very different from movies of its kind.
“Without saying too much, all signs are very positive. I had maybe the most fulfilling experience of my career. It felt huge, but there was a really human quality, which is not unlike the way Julia likes to make movies. I’m really excited for the world to see that one, because it feels very different to movies of its kind.”
