Speculation about a possible NewJeans comeback has grown after three of the members Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni were spotted in Copenhagen, Denmark, with staff members. Their agency, Ador, confirmed the overseas trip on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, but remained silent about the reason for the visit. The company said that it was true that the members had traveled with the staff, but asked for understanding because no details or schedule could be confirmed at that point.
Photos and eyewitness accounts showed the members walking across Copenhagen with staff and appearing near what looked like filming equipment. Because of that, many eagle-eyed fans believe the trip is more likely connected to an official group activity, like a video recording or music sessions. Still, it remains too early to treat the sighting as firm proof of an actual NewJeans comeback.
Meanwhile, NewJeans’ situation remains complicated because the members have been in a contract dispute with Ador since late 2024. Reports say Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni have agreed to return to that company, but member Minji has not been confirmed to come back. At the same time, Ador has terminated its contract with member Danielle and filed a damages suit against her and her family worth 43.1 billion won, or about $29.25 million. Due to these legal procedures and the silence from the members, it is still uncertain whether or not a full group comeback is realistic.
