Okay, RIIZE stans, it’s time to waste not feelings! One of our favorite rookie groups is back with a brand-new single, and we just can’t get enough of it. Now, for context, RIIZE made its first moves a few months ago with their pre-debut track “Memories.” Then, they surprised fans with the funky and groovy song “Get A Guitar,” which marked their official debut as a group. Fast-forward to now, our boys are still all hands on deck and have blessed us with another bop off their pocket.

Today, Friday, October 2023, RIIZE have decided to give us the perfect way to start the weekend, with their latest song “Talk Saxy” (which we think it’s a reference both to the saxophone we can hear in the track and the word “Sexy”). This bop marks a little bit of a change-up from their previous “poppier” and “friendlier” sound. In this case, the guys are going for a more R&B/pop-oriented influence and are serving their best 90s boy band look in the music video.

After this banger was dropped, BRIIZE (that’s the name for RIIZE stans if you didn’t know) flooded social media, praising members Shotaro, Sung Chan, Eunseok, Won Bin, Seung Han, So Hee and Anton for their caramel-like vocals and sharp dancing skills. As if that wasn’t enough, the 7-piece boy group started promoting the song in South Korean music shows, showing off their magic and flyness on stage.

At the moment, there are no confirmations regarding an official EP or a potential album. For now, we’ll just have to enjoy RIIZE’s singles (3 to date), as we wait for a collection of songs to be officially released. Hopefully, it will feature their previous singles, especially “Talk Saxy,” which is blasting our speakers and headphones now.
