The Netflix smash film, “Kpop Demon Hunters,” has been making huge waves worldwide, as the movie has become the most-watched film on the platform. In addition, the songs by Saja Boys and HUNTR/X made it to the top 10 of the biggest music markets globally. This time, the fictional girl band has reached another amazing milestone!

The MTV VMAs nominations for their 2025 edition have been officially revealed. While several new artists were highlighted, HUNTR/X took all the glory as becoming one of the first virtual and fictional Kpop bands to be nominated in one of the categories of the show.

HUNTR/X’s “Golden” has been nominated for “Song of the Year,” along with Alex Warren’s “Ordinary,” Addison Rae’s “Headphones On,” Benson Boone’s “Mystical Magical,” BigXthaPlug feat. Bailey Zimmerman’s “All The Way,” Chappell Roan’s “The Subway,” Demi Lovato’s “Fast,” Doja Cat’s “Jealous Type,” Jessie Murph’s “Blue Strips,” Justin Bieber’s “Daisies,” MOLIY, Silent Addy, Skillibeng & Shenseea’s “Shake It to the Max,” Morgan Wallen’s “What I Want,” Ravyn’s “Love Me Not,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Machild,” Sombr’s “12 to 12”, and Tate McRae’s “Just Keep Watching.”

The fan voting will launch on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m. ET on @MTV Instagram stories. Fans are over the moon as the song could receive the award for major support in the United States. Stay tuned for more HUNTR/X’s news.
