Move over, Barbie, Netflix’s KPop squad has arrived! The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack is making serious noise, jumping from No. 8 to No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in just its second week. With 62,000 equivalent album units earned (up a whopping 97%), it just scored the biggest streaming week for a soundtrack since Barbie’s movie soundtrack in 2023, with around 77 million streams.

After the film’s premiere on Netflix on June 20, the music took off like a rocket. It now ranks No. 2 on Top Streaming Albums, beating out every other soundtrack in 2025. That includes Wicked, which had its moment back in January. As of now, KPop Demon Hunters holds the crown for the highest-charting animated movie soundtrack since Encanto back in 2022.

The film’s popularity has been climbing too, reaching No. 2 on Netflix’s U.S. Top 10 Movies by June 29. Between the catchy hooks, massive streaming boost, and unstoppable fan love, KPop Demon Hunters is proving that K-culture domination isn’t slowing down. The movie’s combo of animation, singing, dancing and heartfelt moments is surely paying off with massive music and TV streams.
