NCT‘s Taeyong is making headlines as a solo artist. The idol was warmly received in the Kpop scene as a solo act with some of his most iconic albums, just like “SHALALA,” and his latest project, “WYLD.” Ultimately, the idol has joined a special chart club
On May 25, Hanteo Charts announced that Taeyong has officially sold over 1 million albums cumulatively on the charts, setting a major career milestone. The announcement follows the release of “WYLD” in May, which contributed in a significant way to this milestone.
It was previously reported that the mini-album, “SHALALA,” sold over 430,000 copies, and “TAP” sold 230,000 copies. Now, “WYLD” is reported to have sold nearly 350,000 copies in its first week, pushing the idol to pass the 1 million mark since his solo debut in 2023.
Congratulations to NCT’s Taeyong on this amazing achievement in South Korea. This is only the start of a marvelous solo career, which is heavily supported by all the K-Netizens and loyal fans.
