NCT’s Doyoung donates $66,000 for Suicide prevention

NCT’s Doyoung showcases once again his philanthropy after making a generous donation to the Korea Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The idol, who isn’t a stranger when it comes to helping the K-Netizens, is ready to close another gap in the inequality of the social dynamics.

On May 29, the Korea Foundation for Suicide Prevention announced that the idol donated $66,000 to support military soldiers at risk of suicide and to aid children and teenagers who have lost family members to suicide.

Doyoung himself expressed his desire to positively contribute to mental health efforts for active military members and children affected by the loss of family members to suicide. For this special occasion, Doyoung shared his thoughts:

“Something I often tell my fans is, ‘Tomorrow will surely be happier than today.’ There are times when a day feels overwhelming and difficult, but I believe that, ultimately, tomorrow will move in a warmer and happier direction than today. I hope that this donation conveys my message of support, and that it gives everyone the strength and courage to carry on.”
