On January 6, 2026, NewJeans fans looted the comment sections of MrBeast, the world’s most followed YouTuber, asking him to “help NewJeans” and specifically “Help Danielle.” According to the Empire social media account, the moment reached virality when MrBeast replied, “What do I need to do?” and gained significant attention across TikTok, Instagram, and X.
For over a week, fans have been posting messages like “Save NewJeans” and “Please buy HYBE,” pushing the hashtag #mrbeastsavenewjeans into online trending topics worldwide. The online campaign comes from a long and messy legal dispute between NewJeans and their agency ADOR over their exclusive contracts. After nearly a year of legal battles, the members announced plans to return to ADOR, but the agency only took Haerin and Hyein back in and said they would be in talks with the remaining three members. Minji, Hanni, and Danielle.
ADOR later confirmed Hanni’s return and said talks with Minji are ongoing. However, Danielle’s case took a dramatic turn when the agency officially issued a notice terminating her exclusive contract and announcing they would sue her, her former manager, and a family member for $33 million dollars.
