Bosch herself stated after the incident, “I love your country, but that is not ok.” “Does not matter if you have a big dream, if you have a crown. If it takes away your dignity, you need to go.” Clips of the situation began circulating online, gaining traction under hashtags like #StandWithMexico and #JusticeForFatima. Miss Universe México quickly issued a statement calling the behavior “unacceptable” and affirming Bosch’s dignity and strength.
