Min Hee Jin made her stance clear about NewJeans on November 15, 2025. During a live broadcast on the YouTube channel Noh Young Hee TV, attorney Noh Young Hee read her statement, reminding everyone that the five NewJeans members were put together as a group with visuals, voice, and styles that complement one another.
The former ADOR ceo emphasized that the quintet should be protected and not dragged into unrelated controversies. She asked the public to avoid speculation, expressing that the core issue is about her and not the members. Her statement followed ADOR’s announcement on November 12, 2025, confirming that Haerin and Hyein had returned to the company after discussions with their families. On the same day, Minji, Danielle, and Hanni also notified ADOR of their intention to come back to the agency. However, it has not been confirmed that these three members have officially been reinstated, causing doubt among fans.
This marks what seems to be a resolution after the legal battle NewJeans had with ADOR last year. Back in 2024, the girl group sought the reinstatement of Min Hee Jin following her dismissal during conflicts with HYBE and demanded the agency’s help for a better working environment. After their request was ignored, the members accused ADOR of a breach of contract and got into a legal fight with the company. Now, after a year of courtroom verdicts confirming the validity of their contract, the group has decided to return to ADOR as five.
Min Hee Jin’s full statement reads:
“I created the picture with all five from the beginning. Their visuals, voices, colors, styles, and movements were all structured on the premise of five. That is why people were captivated and why one complete form came to life. NewJeans becomes whole only as five, with each member’s color and voice interlocking into a perfect shape. Now that they have returned, these five must be cherished. Unnecessary disputes and interpretations are not helpful. The issue is aimed at me, but do not involve the girls in the process. They must be protected and not used. NewJeans exists as five.”
