On this special day for her marriage, Meghan Markle shares with followers the meaningful anniversary surprise gift from Prince Harry and her reaction in a sweet new video.

On May 19th, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary, and to commemorate this day, the former actress shared through her social networks a series of never-before-seen photos of their wedding captioned: “Eight years ago today…☀️”

Meghan Markle also shared through his Instagram stories sweet videos of an intimate celebration at home with their kids, showing Prince Harry bringing her a cake and then the beautiful gift he gave her with a photo that explains its meaning.

It is a bronze sculpture of two penguins nestled closely together, which made the Duchess gasp as the statue was uncovered and say, “What? Oh my gosh,” the first time she took a photo of the couple wearing penguin ‘onesies’ for their secret engagement party in 2017.

Amid this gift revelation, the older kid of the couple, Prince Archie, seemed to be sneaking around, and then he asked for it, and Meghan sweetly explained, “When Mama and Papa got engaged, we had a party with all of our friends, and we said, ‘Everyone wear an animal onesie.'”

She concluded by turning to Prince Harry while saying, “We were penguins. Because we’re together for life” and gave him a kiss in gratitude.

In the next stories, the couple share a kiss in a photo with their anniversary cake, and then Meghan shares another video of her gift alongside their iconic penguins photo and a letter with the phrase “The one and only.”
