A spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle talks on the Kate Middleton edited photo controversy to deny that the Duchess of Sussex’s entourage made comments about Markle experiencing a similar situation.
Amid gossip about a photo of Kate Middleton and her children that was shared on the occasion of Mother’s Day in the UK, which had a large amount of retouching and provoked even more assumptions about Kate’s health, an official spokesperson for Harry and Meghan spoke about it.
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Archewell Foundation denied what an alleged source close to Prince Harry reportedly revealed to Page Six. The spokesperson claimed that the quotes published by the media outlet, which claimed a source “close to Prince William, Harry and his wife” did not come from the Sussexes.
The alleged statement claimed at the time that the editing error “is not a mistake Meghan Markle would ever make,” and noted that “Markle has a good eye and an uncanny attention to detail.”
However, Archewell’s official spokesperson told Newsweek that the information shared with Page Six “did not come from the Sussexes or their circle,” stating, “With respect to Page Six, that did not come from us, it’s completely false,” defending Meghan and Harry on false comments regarding the Kate Middleton photo.

So who made the untrue statement that launch the media into a "but Meghan did it too" frenzy?
Which led a professional photographer feel they had to come out to defend their work.
Photos done by pros were edited are we shocked? Even dragging in a cover photo of Harry as if the magazine doesn't have editing control over that.
We don't know who made the quotes as it was an unnamed unverifiable source. "Close to William Harry and his wife" ywt not Catherine? Why didn't they name Meghan? The whole thing feels a little to convenient for Team Wales.
This isnt the first time the Sussexes team has had to correct the record over a "source" credited to the them was untrue and not from them or their team.
So who team put that statement out?
Was it a Kensington damage control move?
We know they have put out a statement credited to Harry and William without Harry's knowledge or consent which favoured the Wales.
We also know the Royal offices throw other royals under the bus with the press to spin narratives or gain better press. The dirty game Harry said.
We also know they will clearly go to bat for the Wales when conspiracies and online comment get painful and damaging.
Yet were silent for years when the same was happening to Harry Meghan and their children.
Is it any wonder Kensington Palace is no longer a trusted source?
