Meghan Markle and Prince Harry resume work with a familiar PR firm

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reunited with Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis as they reorganize their communications team this year. PEOPLE confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are once again working with the bicoastal public relations firm, which is supporting Meghan’s lifestyle brand, “As Ever,” along with the couple’s U.S.-based projects. Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis is known for representing major Hollywood names and high-profile entertainment ventures. The firm is working alongside the Sussexes’ internal staff as they adjust their public relations strategy following several recent staff changes.

The firm supports ongoing projects and longstanding relationships

The Sussexes’ internal team continues to include Liam Maguire, director of communications for the U.K. and Europe, who primarily takes care of Prince Harry’s communications. Meghan and Harry have maintained a close professional relationship with Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis for many years. The firm worked with Meghan during her time as an actress on Suits and has collaborated with the couple on multiple projects since 2017. One of the firm’s co-presidents, Keleigh Thomas Morgan, attended the couple’s wedding in May 2018. They also previously supported the former royal couple after their move to the United States and the creation of their nonprofit organization, now known as Archewell Philanthropies.

Staffing changes continue into early 2026

The reunion with Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis follows the departure of chief communications officer Meredith Maines, who stepped down in December 2025 after joining in March 2024. Other communications members in their team have also left in recent years, including Ashley Hansen in 2024, who left to start her own consultancy.

In addition, U.K.-based Charlie Gipson and California-based Kyle Boulia left the team. Then, Emily Robinson, who was appointed director of communications and worked at Netflix, left in October last year. Recently, longtime advisor James Holt announced his departure as executive director of Archewell in December 2025. These changes highlight an ongoing restructuring as the Sussexes refine their communications approach.
