BIGHIT MUSIC is ready to launch a brand-new boy group, and the countdown is officially on. It’s all about CORTIS, a five-member team that will debut as the label’s first boy group in almost six years, following the massive global success of BTS and TXT. Teasers have already started rolling out, with a glitchy video edit in pink spelling out their name.

CORTIS includes Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho. They are being introduced as a young creator crew, meaning this group plans to self-make their own music, choreography, and visuals. There are no set roles here. Instead, the members will team up across songwriting, performance, and video production. Basically, these rookies are already appearing to be a remarkable self-produced group.

Even before their debut, some members have been doing some work with other groups under HYBE. Martin contributed to songs like TXT’s Deja Vu, Miracle, and Beautiful Strangers, as well as ENHYPEN’s Outside and ILLIT’s Magnetic. James has worked on choreography for several of those groups and more, including ILLIT’s Cherish and Tick-Tack. With CORTIS following in the footsteps of BTS and TXT, expectations are sky-high for their debut!
