Mnet Asian Music Awards revealed this year’s official list of nominees.
Generally the MAMA awards are held for 2-3 days, but this time it scheduled for December 6th. Which means that netizens will enjoy a virtual event.
However, the winners of ‘Artist of the Year’ and other categories will be decided by 30% of official votes, 40% by the judges, 20% of the digital sales and another 20% from physical sales. The ‘Song of the year’ category will be decided with 20% official votes, 40% judges, 30% digital sales and 10% physical sales.
The ‘Album of the year’ category is 40% from the judges and 60% of physical sales. ‘World Icon of the Year’ and ‘Global Fan Choice Top 10’ by 60% official votes, 20% social media votes and 20% from the views of the Music Video, and also, the ‘Best Music Video’ winners is decided by a 70% from the judges and 30% from the views of the MV.
Only the music released between October 24 of last year and October 28 of this year will be eligible.
