Lee Junho, a recognized singer and actor, has finally received his flowers for his enormous contributions to the global reach of Korean culture through the Kpop scene and the K-Drama industry.
On August 28 KST, Lee Junho attended the 8th Newsis Hallyu Expo (2026 K-EXPO) at Lotte Hotel Seoul to receive a prestigious award: the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award. This recognition follows his performances in tvN’s ‘Typhoon Family’ and Netflix’s ‘Cashero’, as well as his continued musical activities with 2 PM. The idol warmly accepted the recognition with the following speech:
“I sincerely thank you for giving me such a meaningful award. I was simply pursuing the music and acting that I wanted to do, but I was fortunate that my work aligned with the times and allowed me to introduce Korean culture to the world. I will continue working to become someone who can share the power of K-content more widely through good projects and music.”
In addition, the idol has just confirmed his participation in the upcoming dramas, “Viking” and “Embassy for Foreign Monsters in Korea.” He will continue to contribute to enriching Korean culture and exposing it to the rest of the world! Congratulations to Lee Junho.
