Lady Gaga reportedly welcomes her first child with Michael Polansky

The singer and her fiancé have not publicly confirmed the reported birth of their first baby

Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have reportedly welcomed their first child together. Multiple reports from media outlets, including PEOPLE and Billboard, claim the couple was recently spotted in Northern California with a newborn. Gaga was photographed carrying the baby in a sling, but neither the singer nor Polansky has publicly confirmed the news, and details such as the baby’s gender and date of birth remain unannounced. Representatives for Lady Gaga have also not publicly commented on the reports.

The reported arrival would mark the first child for both the “Applause” singer and Michael Polansky. The pair began dating publicly in early 2020, when the artist confirmed their relationship on Instagram in February of that year. She later described Polansky as “the love of my life.” The couple became engaged in 2024, although they did not make a formal announcement. The artist later revealed that Polansky proposed in April 2024.

“He proposed to me right after my birthday, so my birthday passed and I was like, ‘Well, I thought he was gonna propose …,’” the singer said on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, sharing that he asked the question during a rock-climbing trip. “We were just walking back to the room and talking,” she continued. “He actually — it was very Michael — asked me if he could ask me. He wanted to know if it was OK to propose before he proposed. And I was like, ‘Yes, it’s so OK!’”

The reported baby news comes after Gaga completed her The Mayhem Ball tour in April 2026, promoting her latest hit album of the same name. The “Abracadabra” hitmaker then stepped back from the public spotlight. Since then, she has kept her personal life relatively private. If confirmed, the birth would mark a major new chapter for Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky after several years together.
