Lady Gaga is adding a sprinkle of mayhem to the big screen once again! Fresh off four sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena, the pop and fashion queen has been spotted filming in Milan for The Devil Wears Prada 2, which is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026. The sequel to the beloved 2006 movie reunites original stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci. This marks Gaga’s first major movie since Joker: Folie à Deux.

Based on Lauren Weisberger’s novel, the original Devil Wears Prada followed Andy Sachs (Hathaway) as she survived the impossible demands of Miranda Priestly (Streep), the ultimate magazine editor-in-chief. The sequel reportedly follows Miranda navigating her career amid the decline of print publishing, going head-to-head with her former assistant Emily, now a luxury brand executive holding the advertising power Miranda desperately needs.

Behind the camera, the original dream team comes back, including director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna. New faces joining the cast include Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, Pauline Chalamet and Simone Ashley. However, Lady Gaga’s role in the film has not been officially unveiled, so keep your eyes peeled to see Mother Monster wear some Prada.
